We are pleased to introduce Katie Birge, who will serve as Indiana Strategic Partnerships Project Manager in a consulting role. Katie will lead the launch of PowerShift Indiana, a new initiative designed to engage Indiana business leaders in support of clean energy and renewable energy solutions across the state. Katie will collaborate closely with Peder's advocacy team in Indiana and the CGA siting team to help advance this important effort.

Katie's primary focus will be building and organizing a broad coalition of Hoosier businesses that can engage constructively in state and local policy discussions around clean energy. Through targeted relationship-building, networking, information-sharing, and educational engagement, she will help business leaders understand the value renewable energy can deliver for Indiana, including economic development, job growth, energy affordability, stronger local revenue streams for host communities, and lower costs of doing business.

Katie brings a strong Indiana background and a valuable economic development perspective to this role. She has spent much of her career in tech-focused economic development in Indiana and most recently spent six years supporting early-stage startups at a Midwest-focused venture capital fund.
