Membership brings benefits for you

Collaborate with Wind, Solar, and Energy Storage Industry and Non-Profit Leaders

As a CGA member, you’ll become part of an organization that is highly respected for its diverse membership, dedicated and exceptionally skilled staff. We offer a credible body of work and success in navigating the challenges of bringing wind and solar power to the market and are also tackling matters relevant to creating a market for energy storage. Your membership provides numerous opportunities to collaborate with leading clean energy advocacy organizations and industry leaders, among others, to pave the way for a clean energy future.

Network with Influential Members on Strategy

One of the most valuable membership benefits is attendance at the CGA Quarterly Membership Meeting. At each meeting you’ll have the chance to engage, network and help set strategy with colleagues and thought-leaders from across the renewable energy landscape. With robust discussions and idea sharing that are a direct result of our organization’s collaborative culture, these meetings provide insight and information to reinforce wind and solar efforts at the local, regional and national levels. CGA quarterly member meetings include guest speakers, staff/consultant updates, and time for discussion on policy positions, technical issues, and new emerging topics.

Influence Policy Direction & Decisions

If you are interested in policy, regulatory and education/outreach matters, the CGA work groups provide ample opportunities to plug-in and participate. We offer work groups for each state as well as one for the Midcontinent Independent Transmission System Operator (MISO). Increase your knowledge and level of engagement by joining our various listservs, participating in CGA general updates, dialing in for topic-specific calls, and tracking other time-sensitive or highly important issues.
