CGA Statement: IURC NIPSCO GenCo Decision

CGA issued the following statement after the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC) approved NIPSCO GenCo proposal:

"Today, the IURC approved a pathway for NIPSCO to expedite development of generation resources to serve new data centers. Clean Grid Allaince (CGA) advocated in the proceeding for opportunities for clean energy to serve this load and now our members stand ready to work with NIPSCO and provide our development expertise to power new economic opportunities for Indiana. Wind, solar, and storage can be brought to market faster, are cost-competitive, and are proven to drive economic development, create jobs, and benefit customers. CGA and our members look forward to opportunities to work with NIPSCO GenCo to help Indiana communities thrive during this period of data center growth."
