Emily Piontek is a clean energy policy professional with experience in the nonprofit sector and a background in grassroots organizing.

Emily comes to CGA from Renew Missouri, where she led clean energy policy advocacy before the Missouri Public Service Commission, the Missouri General Assembly, state and federal agencies, local governments, and the Missouri public. Prior to that, Emily was a grassroots organizer helping build the energy democracy movement in the coalfields of Appalachia. She has experience advocating for clean energy deployment, energy efficiency, energy affordability, and transmission, and fighting new fossil fuel generation.

Emily earned her Masters of Science from the University of Missouri School of Natural Resources and her dual Bachelor of Arts degrees from Washington University in St. Louis.
